James has a young man in his scout group named Kadyn who is cutting and selling firewood to earn money for the scout jamboree. So, James told him that we would buy some firewood to help support him. As you may know from previous posts my husband is a sucker for any child selling anything! Especially if they are working for it! But, we were completely surprised when Kadyn and his family the Ence's showed up at our house last week and put together a whole fire pit for us! Complete with a fire ring, log seats, a bench, a pile of firewood and a box of wood chips to help start the fire! They did it just to be nice and I was seriously so touched by their thoughtfulness! We have already had 3 fires and have many more planned! In St. George you can pretty much have them all year around!!! It truly taught me the sweetest lesson on being good neighbors.
