St. George

Carter LoVeS Cheese Balls! They had a huge bucket of them that he finished off & when they were all gone Tanner took him to Costco and bought him another bucket of them! He always had his little cup of cheese balls with him! The cooler on the back patio was stocked with pop and drinks and the kids were in Heaven!

The Smith Boys!

The second week that we were there Ilona left for a day to get Tanner to Washington DC. I was taking the garbage cans out when my friend Rachel walked over to talk to me. We were standing by the road visiting when she said " Are all of those chickens supposed to be out like that"!!! It was quite the sight to see us chasing all the chickens down!!!

One night we threw glow sticks into the pool! It was a blast for the kids to dive after them. Carter floated around in his life jacket and would drop them back to the bottom for the kids after they retrieved them!

The Anderson's invited us to go fishing with them... I have to say that Brad is a BRAVE man to take two women and 6 kids fishing all by himself!

We had a tailgate picnic
And went up a canyon to shoot the 22... a pink 22! That's what you get when the Anderson's have all girls!

So, the boys and I got sick of the cold in June and took off for St. George. We were only going to stay one week... but, we really had a hard time leaving and ended up staying two weeks! Thank you to our WoNdErFuL friends the Ence's who let us stay with them! We truly were spoiled in every way! The kids were busy playing with all of their friends from our old neighborhood and while they played Ilona and I were able to get some sewing projects done that I had been wanting to do! James flew in for the long weekend & got to enjoy the warm weather for a couple days too!

We enjoyed a FaBuLoUs dinner at the Shepherd's, fight night at the Anderson's - have to admit that was my first fight night! I didn't watch much of the fight - but had a BlAsT laughing the whole time with Elise! Hit all of the fabric shops with Ilona. Movies on the back patio. Spent a late night sewing with Rachel! Loaded up a bundle of kids and went and watched Karate Kid! Pizza parties at the pool! We swam & swam & swam and just chilled with our friends that we miss so much!!! Thank you everybody for making it a fabulous vacation!
