I really wish that this little boy would stop growing up so fast. He thinks that he needs to keep up with his older brothers in all that they do & I am not ready for that! He is at that fun stage where you just want to eat them up because they are so cute! When you tell him he is cute he is adamant that he isn't... and that he is a boy! I love how he refers to McKay and Carter as the "boys"! When ever he wants to know where they are he asks where the "boys" are. He LOVES baseball. We bought him his own bat this year & I spend a lot of time outside with him each day pitching the ball to him. And I am impressed with how good he is getting! He sees me teaching Carter school each day and now has the desire to learn. He always tells me he wants to do school. We are starting little with his ABC's and numbers. He is no longer allowed to watch Home Alone. He seems to have the Turley family nitch for movie lines & can quote movie lines like crazy! And has picked up on all the bad lines in Home Alone! We're having to do a little damage control! He LOVES when McKay comes home from school each day... there is pure excitement and screaming as soon as he walks through the door! He is starting to warm up to Carter and has realized that he isn't going away so maybe he isn't that bad after all! He will finally give Carter hugs and kisses and show him the love that he has always shown McKay. I even find him cuddling with Carter on the couch watching cartoons. Carter is ecstatic as it has always broken his heart! He calls his Nerf gun his "Smurf gun" and it makes me smile every time he says it! He scrunches up his nose at you when he has asked you a question & is waiting for an answer. He has found the freedom of using the bathroom outside... His brothers are so proud of him & praise him while I am still trying to teach him the rules! He loves to draw and paint and draw and paint some more... He always says "no thank you" and "yes please". If he doesn't want to do something he tells you he is sick. And if he doesn't want to share something with you he tells you that you are sick & he can't share! He doesn't like to sit with us during Sacrament meeting! He always ends up with the Moyes, Hart's or Papa Fred. He is asking from the moment we get there if he can go & sit with them & he watches & waits for them to come! He doesn't eat hardly a thing... Honestly it is a trial in my life to keep him nourished! He is soooo picky! He is truly a joy in our lives. He is so lucky to have two brothers who love & cherish him as much as they do. They are his protectors and are always taking care of him. McKay loves to get him dressed & I love to hear McKay get him dressed as it is always filled with laughter and love. Carter calls him "Little Buddy" and is always getting a blanket or a sippy cup for him. He is truly a very loved little man!
